The Postbox Paradigm

 The Postbox Paradigm

As your eyes slowly close,

 Into a dream filled slumber.

Lego under toes,

 Your mind starts to wander.

 Then your legs start drifting,

 Towards the street they go.

To that postbox your feet start shifting,

It appears full but who's to know.

 You grab the lever,

 With a smile so wide.

Nothing can make this glee be severed,

Or your thrill be cast aside.

 You open the box,

 And to your dismay.

 Loudly, blares your alarm clock,

 You are now awake.
